NAC Presents Celebrates 5 Years with A Tribe Called Red, U.S. Girls, Mehdi Cayenne and The Lionyls

The National Arts Centre concert series NAC Presents held a big celebration for their 5th anniversary in the main lobby on January 9, 2016.
Four wonderful acts under one roof and they were A Tribe Called Red, U.S. Girls, Mehdi Cayenne and The Lionyls.

A Tribe Called Red @ NAC
Headlining was A Tribe Called Red. Definitely the big highlight for the sold out show. It was a big fun dance party!

U.S. Girls @ NAC
The third and favorite act at the concert was U.S. Girls. Last time she was in Ottawa was Arboretum Festival 2015 in August. Since then she released Half Free in the fall to critical acclaim and promoting the album for the Ottawa crowd. There was some microphone issue but she performed right through it.

Mehdi Cayenne @ NAC
Mehdi Cayenne was the second act to perform. Fun upbeat Franco pop rock set.
The Lionyls @ NAC
Ottawa’s The Lionyls started the show with their soul rock music.

Overall it was an exciting fun Saturday night and wish the NAC would do more shows in the lobby.
