Nia Nadurata – Still Living With My Parents EP [Streaming]

Nia Nadurata, a talented musician hailing from Toronto, has recently released her debut EP called Still Living With My Parents under the renowned Arts & Crafts label.
A fine blend of pop and R&B music that showcases her works.

About the EP by Nia:
Still Living With My Parents is a musical journey through the highs and lows of emerging adulthood.
The EP celebrates the chaos of youth, while tenderly acknowledging the profound challenges of finding your place in a world that seems to be moving forward without you.

They say that over time you start to take on your partner’s characteristics, but who do you become when that relationship ends.
According to NIA NADURATA, her ex’s simply become a watered down version of her.
On the breakup anthem, “Practice”, Nia captures the heartache of being left behind while not so subtly hinting at the fact that no matter what you do, you’ll always be haunted by her in one way or another.
“Practice” is a witty but heartfelt pop tune that explores the painful realization that the person you nurtured and shaped has taken your best parts and moved on to someone new.

The soft melodies paired with hard hitting (and sometimes harsh) lyrics reflect those used in “Casual” by Chappell Roan. The build and strength of the chorus have a Taylor Swift like quality that makes you want to scream it at the top of your lungs, and who knows… maybe your ex will hear it.
