It was a fun Friday at the Ottawa Folk Festival.
I will make this into two parts.
The acts I saw were:
I got to see Street Drum Corps who played at the Ravenlaw Stage.
They were pretty amazing live.
It was like watching Stomp mixed in with Taiko style and some radical craziness.
In case you missed them they will be playing Saturday at 4pm at the CUPE Stage.
Before their set, I got to interview the band. Here is the link.
Then headed to the CUPE Stage and it was crazy because City and Colour was going to play.
Wasn’t sure what to expect from Dallas Green.
From what I saw and heard the crowds was loud and crazy for him.
I didn’t know Daniel Romano was there backing him up.
Mostly played alot of new material from Little Hell.
Overall the second night proved to be another success for the Ottawa Folk Festival.
