I was lucky to have a friend drive me to Ubisoft HQ for this great rooftop show with Sarah Neufeld and Myriam Gendron.
There is something magical seeing a show on a rooftop that even words can’t describe it.
The show started off with Myriam Gendron.
She played a wonderful folk set.
I wasn’t aware that she is from Ottawa.
Kudos for her to open up for Sarah.
When Sarah came on, I was like WOW!
She played tracks from the album Hero Brother.
It was so moving and powerful to how she played the violin.
There was fear with the rain which was only a sprinkle.
Colin Stetson join her on stage and it was powerful.
The dynamic those two have is unbelievable!
Can’t wait for the second album now (From what I hear could come out next year!).
Even a little rain and strong winds didn’t stop the show from the ending.
A perfect start to Saturday’s event.
