RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2016: Day 3

It was a wet one on the third day of Ottawa RBC Bluesfest 2016.
While the big headliner was The Lumineers, I decided to see Preoccupations (fka Viet Cong) who happened to performed the same time as them.
While the rain made it a small crowd at the Blacksheep stage, it was a pretty explosive post-punk rock set filled with new materials from the upcoming self-titled album and old tracks from their previous moniker named band.
I was left all wet and happy seeing them!

Another act that I was really happy to see was Tor Miller from New York City.
It was his first Ottawa show and with the rain, people braved through his piano pop music.
Previewing materials from his upcoming album American English which doesn’t come out on September 30th.
Earlier in the day I got a chance to do a short interview with him. Click here to check it out.
