RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2016: Day 6

It wasn’t as hot on Wednesday for the sixth night of Ottawa RBC Bluesfest 2016.
Highlights were Pup, The Monkees, Rebelle, Lindsey Stirling, Awolnation, Sam Hunt and Jazz Cartier.

Pup @ RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2016
Started off at the Monster Energy Stage with Toronto’s Pup. They destroyed (literally not actually) their set with high energy punk rock and singalong lyrics. Promoting their now Polaris short-listed album “The Dream Is Over”. The dream isn’t over for Pup now!
The Monkees @ RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2016
The Monkees at the City Stage. Wowing the crowds with thei poppy 60s music
Rebelle @ RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2016
Rebelle at the Monster Energy Stage.
Lindsey Stirling @ RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2016
American violinist, dancer, performance artist Lindsey Stirling had the most captivating set at the festival. A crossover with classical and electronic music. I really enjoyed it alot!
AWOLNATION @ RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2016
Awolnation was the headliner at the Monster Energy Stage. It was a packed crowded with his electro-rock music.
Sam Hunt @ RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2016
The headliner of the night was country-pop and R&B musician Sam Hunt. The show as delayed due the heavy rain and thunderstorms. The show didn’t get started until around 10:30pm. It was a high energy show that started off with an instrumental track of Empire State of Mind. A great show for those country music fans.
Jazz Cartier @ RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2016
Caught a glimpse of Toronto’s Jazz Cartier. It was something to see at the Blacksheep stage.
