Royal Wood & Rose Cousins @ NAC Southam Hall [May 6, 2016]

It is always a wonderful experience when musicians get to collaborate with an orchestra.
This was the case for Royal Wood, with all the times he has performed at the NAC.
May 6th was more eventful because he was backed up by the NAC Orchestra.
All I have to say that evening during the concert was I got so emotionally choked up when Royal performed his music with the accompanying orchestra.
There was something about the strings that makes it so moving.
Royal Wood is currently promoting his new album “Ghost Light” and performed his older materials in a orchestral fashion.
Rose Cousins was the special guest during the show and she was absolutely great.

Since I didn’t photograph the show itself but I was lucky to take photos during rehearsal/sound check in the afternoon.
