Today, R.Ring which is the duo of Kelley Deal (of The Breeders) and Mike Montgomery (of Ampline) dropped the collage music video for Hug.
The third and final single is taken from their upcoming album War Poems, We Rested which comes out on this Friday via Don Giovanni Records.
Another 90s alterna-punk rock throwback vibe.
About the track:
The song is an ode, as Deal puts it, “to all the daytime drunks of the world… we’re all here, glitter and vomit and lost keys.”
They painted their magic on it and it really started to take shape and make sense. The words came from the excitement of a new relationship and promising self identity.”
