The first week of January 2009 has been off to a slow start, and I’m still feeling the holiday blues.
To shake things up, I decided to review an album that slipped under my radar in 2008 – Said The Whale’s latest release.
This Vancouver-based band is absolutely incredible when they perform live, with their energy and talent captivating audiences everywhere.
Formed by Ben Worcester and Tyler Bancroft, this talented group released their EP ‘Taking Abalonia’ on June 3, 2008 which features a mix of catchy indie pop/rock tracks.
Can’t wait for the new album in late fall of 2009.
