Before Grimes hit it big in 2012 with her critically acclaim Visions (thanks in part of 4AD).
In 2011 she was in the brink of getting popular and was promoting the Darkbloom EP.
During NXNE, I decided to hit up the Weird Canada and Flemish Eye’s showcase.
At that time I was at the brink of exhaustion.
When Grimes played, it changed everything.
It was a fun dance party.
The only song I remembered hearing was Vanessa..
