Tokyo Police Club and Dizzy @ Bronson Centre

Occurred to me that it was exactly 11 years ago on April 18th that I first saw Tokyo Police Club performed to a sold out crowd at Barrymore’s
Now 11 (technically 14 when they started) years later with four albums, various EPs and they are still playing full shows to their excited and dedicated fans.
This time it was at the Bronson Centre.
Opening up for them was Oshawa’s Dizzy.
Performing tracks from their debut album Baby Teeth which was a wonderful lush night-time dream alternative pop music! 8/10.
Then it was Tokyo Police Club’s turn to go on stage.
They are on their North American tour promoting the fourth album TPC which they played New Blues, Hercules, Simple Dude and Pigs.
Fun and entertaining show singing to their songs from Wait Up (Boots of Danger), Nature of the Experiment, Tessellate and Your English Is Good.
Kind of bummed they didn’t play Cheer It On, it would have been icing on the cake!
11 year old self bought out my excited and couldn’t stop dancing and singing out loud! 8/10.
