A triple bill of female musicians performing at Pressed on January 16, 2016.
From bedroom folk-pop to garage pop rock and electro-fuzz pop, it was a wonderful night.
The acts were Twist from Toronto, So Young from London Ontario and Trails from Ottawa.
Toronto’s Twist was the final and headlining band of the night. Performed a wonderful of electro-fuzz pop surfy rock music. Sort of reminds me of Dilly Dally without the harshness. Lots of new tracks from the upcoming album which should be out in a few months or so.London, Ontario band So Young was the second band to perform. Didn’t know that Paterson who used to play in Olenka and the Autumn Lover is in that band. It was a garage pop rock set which was quite enjoyable.
Starting off the show was Trails. Very bedroom folk pop mellow set.
