Canadian indie pop sensation Walk Off The Earth graced the stage of the National Arts Centre‘s Southam Hall, delivering a memorable concert experience to a packed audience.
The evening featured a delightful blend of original compositions and captivating covers, with the highlight undoubtedly being their rendition of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” with a medley of other covers.
One aspect that lent a unique charm to the performance was the band’s inclusion of their children in certain songs, infusing the atmosphere with a warm, family-friendly vibe. This personal touch added an extra layer of intimacy to the show, creating a connection between the artists and the audience that was truly special.
Opening the night was the talented Miguel Veloso, known by his stage name MICO, whose indie pop stylings set the perfect tone for the evening ahead. His performance served as an excellent appetizer, preparing the audience for the main event to come.
