Wavelength 15 @ The Garrison [February 15, 2015]

The final night of Wavelength 15 took place at the Garrison.
Definitely a cold night to remember.
The night started off with BART who are on Idee Fixe Records.

BART @ The Garrison
Made up of members from ex-Ruby Coast, The Elwins and Hooded Fang. It was a warped psych-prog-pop vibe to it. Entertaining set!

The second act to play was Tenderness.
Tenderness @ The Garrison
Was impressed with the lo-fi electronica R&B dance pop vibe. Had me swaying around to her music. Loved the visuals too.

The third band to play was New Fries.
New Fries @ The Garrison
Now that is the band you have to watch in 2015. They were just amazing with their No-wave spazz-pop music. What was more shocking that Ryan of ex-Ohbijou is playing keyboards for this act! It was out of this world and at the end there was some Jesus-like character standing three. Somehow I felt it was so very F**ked Up like!

The fourth band to play was Fresh Snow.

Another band I was excited to see! Fresh Snow is one of those bands you have to see live. Hard to describe their music, I would say it is experimental space rock. Literally out of this world! They previewed tracks from their upcoming EP. I would see them again!

The fifth act was Mozart’s Sister.
Mozart's Sister @ The Garrison
Montreal’s Mozart’s Sister played an amazing solo set of her pop-dance music. Bummed out she didn’t performed Lone Wolf but was happy to hear Mozart’s Sister the song and Don’t Leave It To Me. Previewed some new songs if they will be released or not. Considering this is her last show for now. Really enjoyed it!

There was a late night set and saw Look Vibrant
Look Vibrant @ The Garrison
Kicking off the late night set was Montreal’s Look Vibrant. Really insane set to say the least! Fun pop-rock music!

Overall despite the really cold winter.
I really enjoyed my first Wavelength and could go again next year.
