Was I the only Asian guy at this show?
Wait no! I did see a handful at this show for Yamantaka // Sonic Titan, The Yips and Blue Angel
I was excited for Yamantaka // Sonic Titan’s set, even the flu didn’t stop them from playing.
The band has released their second album “UZU”.
Of course the band entered in grand fashion with some prop.
They started off with Atlanata//Whalesong which I so dearly love to hear and sing!
Overall it was a brilliant amazing set of their experimental rock “Noh-Wave” music.
Of course Ottawa steps it up with the crazy moshing but no one crowd-surfed.
I came out the show all happy!
Ottawa’s Blue Angel started off the set.
15-20 minutes of loud rocking music by members of Boyhood, Organ Eyes & Roberta Bondar.
Let’s hoping they release something very soon.
Ottawa’s The Yips previewed new material for an upcoming EP.
Had more of that indie garage rock than the “Ouija” rock sound to it.
Can’t wait for the new EP.
