When I heard about this new Ottawa festival happening on September 15, 2012.
I have to mention it.
I think it will be cool that this festival will take place at the Ottawa Hostel courtyard.
I am talking about the Arboretum Festival.
The people running this festival will be holding a “reveal party” at Babylon Nightclub on June 7th.
Here are the details.
What: Arboretum music+arts festival Reveal Party, Line-up Announcement & Fundraising Launch.
When: Thursday, June 7th, 2012 at 9pm
Where: Babylon Nightclub, 311 Bank Street, Ottawa Canada
Announcement: 9:45pm, so far Ohbijou and Sandro Perri have been announced but more will come on the night of.
Food & Drinks: ART-IS-IN grilled cheese sandwich bar & Beau’s Brewery & Kichesippi Brewery featured beers
Live Music: Performance by Adam Saikaley at 10:30pm then Kitchen Party & Ceremony DJs will provide the music to get us on the dancefloor.
Fundraising stuff: Pop-up dinners, Kichisippi Brewery Keg parties, house concerts, t-shirts, festival passes, and much more
Who to talk to: Marlene Power (Managing Director), Rolf Klausener (Artistic Director), select advisory committee members, and select participating partners.

To create a world class, camping-inclusive, boutique music and arts festival. ARBORETUM will highlight the best new art, music, food in natural spaces that define our region. ARBORETUM will be a celebration of Ottawa/Gatineau culture, set amongst the timber.
For this inaugural year, we’re going to kick things off at the Ottawa Jail Hostel & Arts Court Courtyards. Peep our conceptualization.
