Went to a crazy and amazing show at Ritual on June 1st.
There was alot of excitement and hype surrounding this show.
With this band, you can say they are turning the Jazz world in a tizzy.
Playing at the show were:
• BadBadNotGood

• Daughters of the Revolution (No site yet)

There was music by DJs Zattar and Memetic to get people dancing on the dancefloor.

The show started off with Daughters of the Revolution.
This was my second time seeing them live and they never disappoint.
The project that fuses electro, hip-hop, spoken word and punk.
Members consist of Olivier Fairfield (E-Tron Music, Fen.Nat and others),Omar Rivero, Usmane Ali (Scattered Clouds and E-Tron Music) and Ian Keteku.
Pretty fun set when Ian crowd surfed.

Then it was BadBadNotGood’s turn to come on stage.
The place was already packed and people chanting the band’s name.
When they started, I was amazed to how talented these guys are.
Noticed some people were surprised to how great they were.
Was near the front of the stage for the first three songs.
After that things went crazy and the moshing started happening.
There was even crowd surfing where two people fell right onto the stage.
Until security had to stop it.
It’s kind of hard to describe it, you had to be there.

Despite the controversy surrounding BadBadNotGood (They are really nice guys, just saying!), I was really impressed with them.
Overall it was a great show.
The band has only a mixtape which is free to download on their site.

Here are the rest of the photos.
