Blackbox Series #3 with The Wilderness Of Manitoba and Dave Norris

Blackbox Concert series had their third show on June 26, 2010.
Headlining was The Wilderness Of Manitoba and opener was Dave Norris & Local Ivan.
I was really excited to see The Wilderness of Manitoba.
Last time I saw them was in September of 2009 at Raw Sugar Cafe.
This time the band has finally released a full-length album called When You Left The Fire.
It was a lovely evening of acoustic folk rock music at the GCTC’s Studio Theatre.

Dave Norris & Local Ivan was first to play.
For those that don’t know they are a band from Ottawa.
They played a great wonderful set of indie acoustic folk rock.

The Wilderness of Manitoba played a wonderful brilliant set.
It was finally my first time seeing the full band.
Last time Stefan wasn’t there in September.
It was nice to hear him play the cello and the banjo.
Favorite was hearing the band sing “Evening” from their EP.
It was such a great intimate show.
Their encore the band decided to singing off the stage and do an amazing acoustic set.
