FME 2023 [Day 1]

I am finally back to attend FME in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec.
I almost didn’t arrive to the small town, thanks Air Canada for having a delayed flight and missing my connecting flight.
So a last minute decision to grab a rideshare from Montreal which is about a 6 hour drive.
Caught the outdoor show with:
Thierry Larose who I thought sounded like Born Ruffians

Mauskovic Dance Band from Amsterdam who I enjoyed very much with their eclectic electronic funk and psych-rock music.

Bon Enfant performed a retro-classic sounding rock music.

Went to Agora des Arts which totally changed so much and caught most of Laurence-Anne‘s set.
Dark and experimental electro-pop music.

The festival is good with their surprise set’s and the one I got to see was Montreal’s Emma Beko which was outside of Chez Morasse’s parking lot.
Cool alternative hip-hop and electro-pop music.


Second time seeing Myst Milano who I recently saw her last Friday in Ottawa.
This time it was just her performing and no back-up dancers.
I really enjoyed dancing to their music and the audience loved it too.

Ended my night on seeing Population II which some loud psych-rock music.
