On my third day at FME in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec.
Started off with Vanille who performed at Ginguette Chez Edmund which is near the lake.
Lovely dreamy folk pop music.
For the 5 à 7, I caught Cedric Noel at Cafe-Bar L’Abstracto.
Cedric preview some new materials for an upcoming album and some from Hang Time.
Right next door was Lunch Night at Les Mooses.
Playing some mooody art pop music.
I really wanted to see the return of Karkwa but after my experience at Le Paramount the night before, I decided to forego that and just go to the outdoor main stage where I got to see New Zealand’s Jonathan Bree perform what was a freaky and beautiful indie synth pop music.
Milk & Bone wowed the audience with their electro-pop music.
The headliner for Saturday night was Les Louanges with an upbeat R&B pop music.
Caught two songs of Philippe B.
blesse played the small main stage.
Over at Cabaret de la Derniere Chance was a mix of angry and experimental rap/hip-hop.
First was Jodie Jodie Roger who I totally remembered when opening up for Backxwash last year.
Truckviolence was very intense with the experimental rap music.
Over at Diable Rond I caught some of Les Lunatiques with their rock and synth/new wave funk pop music.
At least I saw them wearing TV/monitors/boxes in their heads.
Then interestingly enough caught DVTR with some garage punk music.
Cool to see Les Couleur’s Laurence Giroux-Do rocking out.
Ended the night with Tukan at the Petit Theatre basement.
