Hmmm, Musk Ox and Gutstrings @ Raw Sugar Cafe

It was a nice crowded evening at Raw Sugar Cafe on December 20th.
Playing at the show were:

• • Hmmm
  • Musk Ox
  • Gutstrings (didn’t see but here is a photo during their soundcheck)

  Nice to see people there who I haven’t seen in awhile.
  Finally saw Rolf working at Raw Sugar Cafe for the first time.

  Hmmm started off the set with his blend of techno dance music.
  I wanted to dance but Raw Sugar is not the right place to be dancing since people were just sitting by the table or on the floor.

  Musk Ox was up next.
  Their set was soothing and intriguing with the music.
  The audience was captivated.

  I didn’t get to see Gutstrings.
  But I was there for their soundcheck and it was very mysterious.
  The lead singer almost sounded like Bjork.
  Wish I got to see their set.

  Overall it was a nice show for those needing to get away from the insanity of the Christmas holidays.
