Last night De Montigny Contemporary unveiled its winter edition art opening, showcasing the evocative works of Martin Golland and Rosalie Gamache.
About the works:
Martin Golland’s Into the Waiting Air explores the intersection between the built environment and the natural world.
Rosalie Gamache’s Transparaître is the debut of a brand new direction.
In this series, Rosalie Gamache’s artworks revisit historical codes of the nude from a queer perspective.
Her paintings represent bodies moving out of the background, landscapes, and positions that signal change, connectedness, and adventure.
The exhibition runs until March 1, 2025.
