You should check out Oberhofer from Tacoma now living in New York.
Started out as Brad Oberhofer’s (Hence the name of the band) own work of indie bedroom pop music and now has become a band.
Oberhofer will finally drop their debut album “Time Capsules II” on March 27, 2012 through Glassnote Records.
I listened to the “Time Capsules II” and it is a kaleidoscope of layering sounds of guitars, drums, xylophones, whistles and percussion.
Kind of reminds me of Rich Aucoin with that style of music on the piano and catchy lyrics.
