On to Day 2 of Pop Montreal 2011.
Before attending this “free show” that everyone is still talking about.
I went to Le Divan Orange (again) for this day show that was run by Passovah.
There were four great acts that played.
- Stranger (formerly Owl Loris)
- Thomas (who was a last minute addition because Duzheknew was stuff in Halifax)
- Reversing Falls
- Parlovr
Didn’t know that Stranger was actually Jordan Robson Cramer who I saw awhile back opening up for Adam & The Amethysts.
Made a joke in the beginning of his set that it was deja-vu since he messed up. He mentioned about the Ottawa show that he messed up the song three times.
It was a nice a set.
Second was Toronto’s Thomas.
It was another great set.
Third was Reversing Falls.
Finally got to see them live for the first time.
Considering last time they came to Ottawa, I only had to see their “soundcheck” since I had to go to another show.
Last was Parlovr and they totally rocked it out of the park.
Played some new material for the new album (whenever it comes out).
Overall it was a great way to spend the afternoon
