After being at this show on April 29, 2011.
I headed off to Mavericks for the Prairie Scene.
Excited to see Library Voices live!
The band sure bought the fun into the Prairie Scene with their blend of alterna-pop
Haven’t seen them since last year where I was at NXNE.
I didn’t get to see Northcote but people told me that the band was great.
Surprised to see Mavericks full of people!

I got there when Volcanoless In Canada played their last song.
They were really great!
Wish I could have been there for their whole set.

Library Voices was up.
I was very excited!
This time it was seven members on stage.
They played a fantastic and fun set!
Mostly played tracks from Demin On Demin and some new tracks from an upcoming album due later this year.
Glad they played Prime Minister’s Daughter since it’s “Election Fever”.
It was such an amazing show that I couldn’t stop dancing to their vibrant indie pop music.
Still can’t believe that seven members can fit into that stage at Mavericks.
There was a cool light show!

Also I noticed Jenny Mecija from Ohbijou was at the show. No! not on stage mostly attending the show. Thank goodness it was her, if it was someone else I would have died of embarassment.
She happens to be friends with one of the members. (I seem to have a knack on spotting other musicians at the show)
The band ended off “Step Off The Map and Float” and it was just pure insanity on stage!

Very glad to have attended this fun and crazy show.
You should definitely catch Library Voices live anywhere in your city.
Listen to Party Like It’s 2012.
Here are the photos.
