Winter came back with a horrible snow storm in Ottawa.
At least people did brave it out and made it to Ritual for the beginning of The Wooden Sky‘s 2012 tour.
The show was a Toronto domination because the only band that opened up for them was Great Bloomers.

Great Bloomers started off the set.
I haven’t seen them since last March.
The band played a mix of old material from “Speak of Trouble” and new tracks from an upcoming album.
I asked Lowell on when the new album will drop, he said it will be in the fall.
But don’t worry he also mentioned that an EP will come out during the summer so you don’t have to wait that long.
They put on a great set and there were people dancing to their songs.

Finally The Wooden Sky came up on stage.
The audience was totally excited.
The band was in full-force in promoting their third album “Every Child A Daughter, Every Moon A Sun“.
Gavin was sporting a Guns N’ Roses t-shirt.
The band played a mix of everything from If I Don’t Come Home, You’ll Know I’m Gone and When Lost At Sea.
True die hard Wooden Sky fans were singing out loud to every words of their songs.
All I can say is you have to see this band live!
I am still blown away to how popular they have become.

Overall both bands played to a great sold out show in Ottawa.
Here are the rest of the photos.
