Lastly Young Galaxy was the headliner at Mavericks on March 12, 2011.
Ottawa was their first stop (excluding CMW) in a mini tour which they play some shows in the USA with Winter Gloves.
It was also like a album release show for “Shapeshifting“.
Very excited to dance and groove on the new album.
They had an amazing epic set filled with nice visual video presentation.
Also Catherine McCandless was about 7 months pregnant, kudos to her!
At first I thought Young Galaxy would play their live shows as a trio.
But they were back as a five piece with a new drummer and keyboardist/guitarist.
All the members came up on stage wearing all white.
I danced to most of their live set.
My favorite was dancing to “Cover Your Tracks“, “Long Live The Fallen World” and “We Have Everything”.
Totally enjoyed their epic set!
After their set, I gave Stephen and Catherine a baby gift which is a baby’s first hands or feet imprint.
Both really liked it and wasn’t expecting that I would give them a baby gift.
