First show since post Bluesfest.
I decided to check out this show at Cafe Dekcuf on July 19, 2012.
Playing at the show were:
Milk Music

Pregnancy Scares

Solids

Montreal’s Solid started off the set.
They reminded me of Japandroids abit.
The duo played a really amazing set of indie loud grungey alterna-rock tracks.
Like they had a lamp on them which made it easy to take some cool photos.

Ottawa’s Pregnancy Scares was next.
They played a really loud mean hardcore short set.
It was totally insane with Craig’s singing added with the spitting of beer.
Thank goodness I didn’t get spit on. ![]()
At least it was entertaining.

Lastly it was Milk Music from Olympia, Washington.
I was really curious to check them out.
It wasn’t until I saw the Facebook event that someone put a Pitchfork link about them.
If you don’t know what they sound like, check out this.
A great set filled with indie lo-fi punk rock.
Such a interesting band to see live.
Sadly they didn’t have any of their music because it was sold out.

Overall a great night.
Here are the rest of the photos.
