Calgary-based experimental indie rock band Ghostkeeper have unveiled the music video for “Balloon Moon,” the second single from their upcoming album of the same name, arriving October 27, 2026 via Victory Pool.
“Balloon Moon” is a moody and romantically spiritual piece of experimental indie rock that feels both intimate and expansive.
There is a sense of healing woven throughout the track, with Ghostkeeper creating an atmosphere that feels almost like a musical prayer.

“The ‘Balloon Moon’ is a sacred talisman that rises to give me light, hope and inspiration when I need it most,” explains Shane. “It is the medicinal and protective manifestation of the love between Sarah and I … and it shines even in this grotesque and heartbreaking climate of perpetual colonial/capitalist desecration of humanity and of our Mother Earth. This song is a prayer for all those who are brutally affected. Hiy Hiy.”
