Having dropped this EP in March.
I finally got time to listen to Ottawa band Roberta Bondar‘s second EP called Hiss.
It’s the follow up to their self-titled EP which came out last year.

I didn’t go to Small Talk Stinks!/Bruised Tongue DJ set and Roberta Bondar music video premiere at Pressed on March 10th.
The music video was directed by Travis Boisvenue.
Now it is available to view on Youtube.
Night Danger is taken from the upcoming tape on Bruised Tongue.

Better be high anticipation for this!?
Ottawa’s Roberta Bondar just dropped a music video teaser for Night Danger.
Since I don’t know what the new song sounds like.
Just hoping the music video will be exciting to see.
The music video is directed by Travis Boisvenue.
Can’t wait for the new album dropping hopefully later this year.

Roberta Bondar (not the astronaut) is a Ottawa band that I’ve covered various times on this site.
For a refresher the band consist of Lidija Rozitis (Guitar/Vocals), Alex Maltby (Guitar/Vocals), Gary Franks (Bass/Synth) and Tyler Goodman (Drums).
Finally had the chance to listen to their EP which dropped in May.

Ceremony (Pre-Canada Day Party) @ Saint Brigid’s Church [June 30, 2012]

After spending the whole day at Escapade Music Festival.
I decided to go somewhere close to comfort and be around with people that I know.
So I went to Ceremony.
For those that don’t know Ceremony is, it is a dance party catering in house, minimal, techno, bass and post-disco.

Line-up for Arboretum Festival @ Babylon Nightclub + Buy tickets

As previously posted a few days ago.
The revealing of the line-up for the first annual Arboretum Festival took place at Babylon Nightclub on June 7, 2012.
The festival will take place on September 15th at the Ottawa Hostel courtyard.
There was a lovely artwork and display on stage.
Grill cheese sandwiches on hand. Which was deliciously good!

Rolf Klausener and Marlene Power were on hand to reveal the list of local businesses participating this event.

The music was by the DJs of Ceremony and Kitchen Party.

I was hoping to see Bad Vibrations from Halifax and attend Shameless for the first time.
