Went to the Silver Doom Room for Pop Montreal’s NXNE showcase.
I only caught the first band that played.
It was AroarA.
I heard some good things about this act because one of the members is Andrew Whiteman of Broken Social Scene.
I almost got starstruck just because!!
The female singer is Ariel Engle who is part of AroarA.
They played a really great indie experimental and atmospheric rock music.
Really enjoyed their set a lot!
