Ottawa’a Blue Angel was the last act to play. They played an awesome loud garage rocking set that filled the room with smoke. Always a crowd pleaser.Toronto’s Darlene Shrugg was the band I really wanted to see. The band consist of members of U.S. Girls, Slim Twig, Fiver and Ice Cream. There was no way I wouldn’t want to miss this one since I’m a big fan of U.S. Girl’s work. Definitely an entertaining set. I’m just going to call their music “Dirty Rock” because it just had that retro sound. Can’t wait for something like an EP or full-length album!London, ON’s I Smell Blood literally tore the place up with their loud noise punk rock music!! It was insanely crazy and heavy! Really enjoyed it!London ON’s WHOOP-SZO started off the show with their experimental noise rock music. It was from that to psych-rock to shoegaze. It was definitely a great set.
