A nice way to end February 2013 with this show at Raw Sugar Cafe.
Arboretum Music + Arts Festival presented their first line of shows for 2013.
You can say it was the Bruce Peninsula trio featuring EONS, Neil Haverty and Misha Bower.
It was also the Ottawa book release for Misha Bower‘s Music For Uninvited Guests. (Read most of it and it’s brilliantly good)
It was a strip down, intimate and acoustic show with just the three members.
Wasn’t the typical Bruce Peninsula show where it is a high upbeat and energetic folk rock music show.
Started off with Misha reading a chapter from the book which was “Naked Woman”.
EONS which is made up of Matt Cully and Misha Bower.
They previewed some new tracks which should be ready later this year.
Neil Haverty of Bruce Peninsula played some solo tracks.
Wasn’t sure if it’s for the band or his own stuff.
But anyways it was brilliant.
The three of them did play some Bruce Peninsula in a strip down version.
Misha read parts of another chapter which was Fidelity’s Bluff.
Overall I totally enjoyed the show with it’s intimate setting and funny banter.
You should go and get Misha’s book.
Here are the rest of the photos.
