A Ottawa band who I haven’t seen live yet (well thanks to the pandemic, I probably have to wait next year now).
Today, dad sports announced their signing to Grand Jury Music (That’s a good get for them!).
With that, they dropped the music video to name & place which come out in May 2020.
Very 80s pop rock new wave influence sound.
Will they be the next Alvvays?

Speaking to “name & place”, dad sports’ vocalist and guitarist Miguel Plante says;
“u know that feeling when yr looking out of a car window and its dark out and everything is just really beautiful and u feel like yr in a coming of age movie ? we tried to make this song exactly that :)”
