Mother nature decided to pull a fast one and the snow returned in Ottawa.
But it didn’t stop some people to come out to this show at Pressed on April 12th.

I was looking forward to this show because it was Dusted first time in Ottawa.
If you aren’t familiar, Dusted is Brian Borcherdt (Holy Fuck) new music project with Leon Taheny on drums.
The show started off with Hull/Ottawa band Scattered Cloud.
They were a last minute replacement for Rituals and Ell V Gore who had to cancel.
They did a great set of their experimental dark and brooding rock set.
It what you would get from the E-tron Records. people.
Nice that Phillippe got a new bass.
Then it was Dusted’s turn.
I really enjoyed their set.
It wasn’t what I expected last time I saw them play at NXNE last year.
Part of me felt when Brian sang, his vocals reminded me of Chad VanGaalen mixed in the with lo-fi fuzz rock sound of Dirty Beaches.
There was abit of that new wave rock-dance sound in one or two tracks.
Overall really enjoyed this show!
