Once in a blue mood I would go out to a hardcore punk show.
I rarely go to these events fearing of getting clobbered by the moshers.
Six bands happened to play at the Legions on December 22, 2011.
It was a slew of Ottawa hardcore punk bands.
The show was a worthy cause for the Ottawa Food Bank.
I only managed to catch four of the six bands playing that night.
It wasn’t that crazy, the only thing I felt guilty was the place was held at.
Talking about the Montgomery Legion on 330 Kent Street.
This is the place where War Veterans and Military people come hang.
At least people there respected that place.
Anyways the first band to play was Rough House.
It was pretty loud and crazy set.
Second band to play was Motivator.
Pretty heavy set, mostly due to the lead singer just screaming out the songs.
Third was Pregnancy Scares who I wanted to see.
Last time I saw them was last November at a basement show.
No I didn’t get kicked in the “groin” this time. 😛
I didn’t noticed at first but someone told me that their set was abit longer than before.
It was a pretty wild set.
Fourth band I caught abit was Shot Nerves.
It was definitely an interesting show to catch on December 22, 2011.
Here are the rest of the photos.
