Jasmine Trails, Isaac Vallentin and mal/aimé @ Club Saw

Another night this week at Club Saw.
This time it was a home welcoming show for two musicians who used to live in Ottawa and currently living in Montreal.
Starting off the show was mal/aimé.
Again it was a solo set by Yolande since the other members were busy.
Lovely 20 minute set of a moody ambient experimental music. 8/10.
Second was Isaac Vallentin, who performed an intimate indie acoustic pop folk music.
There was some spoken word performances too.
It’s been such a long time since I last saw him perform and it was a great set.
Then ending things was Jasmine Trails (fka Trails).
It was the EP release show for the former Ottawa native currently in Montreal.
Lovely set of moody and dreamy indie pop music.
Sounded so good with a full band and it was a great crowd too.
I swear the leading single Alive and Well, I can’t get out of my head and she did a lovely cover of Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game
Hope the momentum will keep later this year. 8/10.
Check out the photos from the show.
