I was listening to Lauren Laverne’s show on BBC 6 Music.
I couldn’t help but notice listening to this song called 110% by Jessie Ware.
Not to be confused with “Jessie J”. 😛
Here is a tidbit about her.
South Londoner Jessie Ware is one of the most exciting vocalists to emerge from the UK underground.
The last couple of years have seen the glamorous vocalist collaborating with some of the most respected producers on the electronic spectrum.
Jessie caused waves through out the scene in 2010 when she lent her vocals to masked producer SBTRKT for his fantastically catchy and squelchy track Nervous.
When I heard 110%, she sounds like a mix of Alicia Keys and Aaliyah.
I like the electronica beats and gets me groovin’.
