Today being Valentine’s Day, Joel Plaskett Emergency dropped a sixth single, entitled Somewhere Else.
This is the sixth song in a series of ten to be recorded and digitally released by Joel and his band The Emergency; one song a week for ten weeks before Scrappy Happiness comes out on March 27, 2012.

Here is what I think of the single:
Somewhere Else is so far the shortest track he has released for Scrappy Happiness.
First few seconds I thought it was going to be another acoustic track.
But its gets upbeat and abit electric.
It has that old school 1990s alternative-rock sound.
Would have thought he make a Valentine’s Day song but it wouldn’t fit in with the “Scrappy Happiness” idea.
