It was Record Store Day 2017 on April 22nd.
The Record Centre was participating at this year’s event and had some wonderful live in-store performances by Keturah Johnson, Nathanaël Larochette and Colossus of Rhodes.
Sadly I missed the last band which was No Mistakes in Space (Hopefully catch them live sometime soon).
While I got to the place around the afternoon, most of the special releases dwindled down to four crates which they started off with twelve.
At least John saved me a copy of Space Jam Soundtrack and bought Suuns Hold/Still Remix album.
It was a special day for Keturah Johnson because her band The Heavy Medicine Band released their album called ERSATZ ERA on vinyl.
She is so talented and just belted out and performed a scorching set.
Second act was Nathanaël Larochette and performed and instrumental set.
It was nice, mellow and almost made me fall asleep over a long day of vinyl excitement.
Starting off the set was Colossus of Rhodes.
All I know was that drummer used to be in Godspeed You! Black Emperor and performs in Esmerine.
