There was a band that I really wanted to see perform at Bar Robo on September 19th.
It was the amiskwacîwâskahikan (In the Edmonton area) band nêhiyawak
The band had their debut recording on The Line of Best Fit‘s Ho! Ho! Ho! Canada VIII compilation last year.
There was no way of missing out this show.
Really enjoyed their set filled with indie synth rock which felt atmospheric! Kind of reminded me of DIIV.
Opening up was Ottawa’s Arms of The Girl with their blend of indie rock music.
