Oceans and Krupke played at Ottawa’s Zaphod Beeblebrox on October 8, 2010.
I haven’t been to Zaphods in such a long time.
Entering the venue I noticed the election candidate sign “Eugene Haslam for Capital Ward Councillor”.
Politics aside, I was there to see the bands the playing.

Oceans started off the set.
They are vastly improving with their live show.
Also its going to be a while for them to play a show since they are going to start recording on a EP.
It was also the last show to feature their original drummer Kyle.
Let’s wait and see who will take over drumming duties for Oceans.
Krupke was up next.
They finally showed up and they sang about five songs.
They were really great live.
Had that orchestral pop rock sound to them.
Love the xylophone!
Hope they come back to Ottawa for a proper live set.

Here are the rest of the photos.
