After seeing Oceans and Krupke at Zaphods.
I headed over to Mavericks to see the Great Bloomers play live.
Haven’t seen Great Bloomers live for awhile.
The show was their vinyl release of Speak of Trouble plus an 7″ release show.
I wanted to show my support for them again.
Noticed there is a change in the line up within the band.
They have a female keyboardist this time.
I think its cool and its sort of reminding me of the other band Will Currie and the Country French.
The band played materials from Speak Of Trouble and some new material.
The crowd was very diverse with young and old people.
Must be the “power” of Gordon Lightfoot.
Great set the band put on and hopefully they will release a new album in 2011.
