It was a nice Wednesday for an intimate Debaser show at Black Squirrel Books.
Performing at the show was Omhouse, Luka and Willow(Grace) [Sorry couldn’t find a link since she is very new on the Ottawa music scene].
Toronto’s Omhouse performed a wonderful upbeat pop rock set.Toronto’s Luka who has played Ottawa a few times. This time he had a backing band and sounded so good. A performance of mellow romancing and sad ballad pop folk music. Some of the tracks he performance are taken from his upcoming album Summon Up a Monkey King which will drop in June via Yellow K Records.Starting off the show was Ottawa’s Willow(Grace). It was a mix of poetry, a cover of Drake’s One Dance (Find it on Facebook) and an intimate bluesy soulful song. She was a happy and gitty playing to a nice crowd.
