Full Flex Express Stops at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2015: Day 1

Ottawa Bluesfest 2015
Couldn’t be very excited for this since right now and happening for 10 days, it is Ottawa RBC Bluesfest 2015. To kick off the first day of the festival, it was the 2015 edition of the Full Flex Express with Ottawa starting off the tour.
It is a 8 day cross Canada party featuring Jack Ü (feat. Skrillex and Diplo), Zeds Dead, A$AP Ferg, Tycho, Hundred Waters, Anna Lunoe X Mija.
Very surprised that some of the acts like Hundred Waters and Kiesza performed way earlier than scheduled by 10 mins or so.

B2B: Anna Lunoe X Mija
Things began with Anna Lunoe x Mija. I really enjoyed their EDM set and made me want to dance.

Hundred Waters @ RBC Bluesfest 2015
Gainesville, Florida’s Hundred Waters performed an awesome electronic rock set. Mostly materials from their second album that they played. I was glad to finally see this band, having missed out at NXNE this year. I was kind of surprised that it was as short set.
Tycho @ RBC Bluesfest 2015
Tycho was the act that I was the most excited about! Recently I picked up their album Awake and just blew me away with it’s ambient electronica-rock music. It was a nice summer day to listen their music live!
Kiesza @ RBC Bluesfest 2015
Thing got more upbeat with dance pop artist Kiesza. She definitely got the chops of singing and dancing! The audience was going wild for her. Of course she ended off with the big hit Hideaway.
A$AP Ferg @ RBC Bluesfest 2015
Then it was hip-hop time with A$AP Ferg. It was so insane with the duo running around the stage. Great to photograph the set despite lots of F-Bombs being dropped.
Zeds Dead @ RBC Bluesfest 2015
Things got very techno/dub-step with Zeds Dead.

Jack Ü (feat. Diplo & Skrillex) @ RBC Bluesfest 2015
To end things off with Jack Ü (feat. Diplo & Skrillex). Pretty insane and awesome spectacle show they put.

A very nice day to kick off the festival some EDM to get it out of the way so the old folks who want to hear better music later on the festival don’t have to complain.
1 down, 9 to go!
