It’s that time of year where I head up to Montreal for Pop Montreal.
The festival is in it’s 10th year.
I will be attending this year’s festival from September 19 – 22.
Sadly I am going to miss out Sunday’s events.
Here is a list of what to see on September 19th.
They may change on the day of.
So if you really want me to see your set, you must give me really good reason! 😛
4:35pm – 5:55pm @ Quartiers POP – POP Symposium with Caila Thompson of Mozart’s Sister, Tim Hecker and others.
7pm – 11pm @ Ukrainian Federation – Lætitia Sadier (Stereolab), Cate Le Bon & Orca Team.
This lineup looks pretty interesting since in my opinion these acts won’t be coming to Ottawa.
Orca Team at 8pm, if you want to get that 1960s surf lo-fi pop and post punk music from this Seattle act.
Cate Le Bon at 9pm, if you want to get that folk pop music by this Wales artist.
Lætitia Sadier at 10pm, if you are a fan of Stereolab. She is plugging her second album Silencio.
