It’s that time during July where Ottawa kicks off its 10-day music festival which is RBC Ottawa Bluesfest.
Here was who I saw on the first night.
Jupiter & Okwess kicked off the festival at the main stage with their blend of World music.
Caught a song from the Bank Street Bonbons
Okies got things folk rocking it up at the Blacksheep Stage.
Sweet Crude wowed the City Stage.
Montreal’s Geoffroy got things electro-chill with some added 420!
Passenger performed a wonderful solo acoustic set to end the first night of Bluesfest.
There was one song which was diss to everything from people talking at shows to UK’s X-Factor ruining today’s music and President Trump.
Bryan Adams was everything I would expected from.
Bryan sang the hits from Can’t Stop This Thing We Started, Run To You (A favorite), missed out Heaven, Summer of ’69, When You’re Gone (minus Melanie C) and the big one Everything I Do (I Do It For You).
