The Sussex Contemporary on November 17th had an opening of Whitney, Leslie and Sarah: A Group Show plus PMBL Collective. This exhibition will feature the works by Whitney Oldenburg, Leslie Hossack, and Sarah Letovsky. Cristine Yunyk from PMBL Collective. It was the first of two sold-out shows at Babylon Nightclub with Alvvays and Absolutely Free. Getting denied a media pass from LiveNation, I happened to know a friend who had an extra ticket but found out the night of the show and thanks to Absolutely Free for putting me on the guest list. National Arts Centre presented a 5 à 7 party with Nomadic Massive. The free show by the Montreal hip-hop group simply wowed the audience dancing to their music. The show was a partnership with House of Paint.
Went up to Babylon Nightclub for a fun hot sweaty sold out show with Busty and the Bass and Caye on November 15, 2017. The show started off with American from Boston/L.A. artist Caye. I enjoyed the electro-r&b hip-hop music which was cool to dance too. Lyrically I was like “Wow! So much F-bombs dropping!” …

A wonderful night at The Rainbow Bistro on November 11, 2017. It was the long-awaited LP release for Slack Bridges with the album titled Joy of Joys. Opening up the show was Mushy Gushy. Slack Bridges put on an amazing show! Lots of fun dancing to their music!
Final stop and a spur of the moment on November 10, 2017. Over at The 27 Club, performing to a packed audience was Toronto roots/rock/country band The Sadies. Very nice to give a nod to Zaphods which the band has performed numerous times.
From one show to another. Over at Mercury Lounge, performing was World Music Juno Award winner Boogat. It was the album release for San Cristobal Baile Inn which is his third studio record. I really enjoyed dancing to his latin dance music!
