This was definitely a surprise at the second annual Arboretum Music + Arts Festival.
Not sure why this set was put on the free stage at Saw Courtyard and should have been at Waller Park stage.
I am talking about Alex Lukashevsky, Felicity Wiliams & Daniela Gesundheit.
Alex has played Ottawa before but this was my first time.
I swear words can’t explain to what I just saw/heard from this set.
It was acoustic folk pop music.
With the exception of the guitar, the vocals was the instrument.
Alex’s vocals reminded of Neil Haverty of Bruce Peninsula.
They played tracks mostly from Too Late Blues.
Perfect way to watch this show while the sun is setting and left me speechless!!
