Bluesfest 2010: Day 6

Still reeling in from the Flaming Lips show on Saturday.
Things were back to normal show wise and temperature wise on Day 6 (July 11) of Bluesfest.
It was a nice sunny Sunday with some bands I have never heard of and checked some out.
The musicians that I saw were:

The day started off seeing some Ottawa bands.
Caught one song of Slyde.

Went over to Subway Stage and check out Garrett Mason very bluesy rock.
Was there for one song.

Headed over the Black Sheep tent.
More like caught the whole set of The Bushpilots.
Apparently I was told that the lead singer of Good2Go was going to make an appearance.
She didn’t show up until the last song.
It was a great rock music set from a Ottawa band.

Shane Dwight was from the USA and it was very rock roots music.
Apparently his set went over and played an additional ten minutes.

Which cause abit of a delay for Timber Timbre’s set.
OK I have two words to say about Timber Timbre’s set. “BEE MASK”.
It was an alright set, nice to see Olivier Fairfield and Simon Trottier of Ferriswheel and Mika Posen of Forest City Lovers play.

Charlie Winston’s set was very cool to watch.
He looks so much like C.R. Avery with the clothes he wear.

The Swell Season was amazing to see live.

Finally Polaris Music Prize nominee Dan Mangan pack the Barney Danson Theatre.
I was there for three song but I was happy to hear Road Regrets.

Overall I had a great Sunday for Bluesfest.
